This "family" cottage has been in our family since 1880`ish and is regularly used by us.It`s let out in addition to help cover the annual running costs .It was gutted and totally refurbished in 1994 with the lounge and kitchen upstairs to take advantage of the fantastic views.A continual maintenance program means it is kept at a high standard with cleanliness a priority .(Bathroom and toilets replaced in 2009 and luxury kitchen with integrated appliances...dishwasher,gas hob,electric cooker,fridgefreezer..fitted March 2011)
SINCE 2003 WE HAVE RUN IT OURSELVES NO LONGER PAYING AGENTS FEES OF 25%,THIS MEANS TO YOU THAT OUR PRICES ARE up to 20% LESS IN PEAK SEASON AND up to 40 % LESS AT OTHER LESS BUSY TIMES OF YEAR THEN IF WE STILL RENTED THROUGH AN AGENT! AND IT ALSO MEANS THERE IS NO INFURIATING BOOKING FEE!

AUGUST 2009 Marvellous holiday in perfect location.House is wonderfully equipped.We`ve never before wanted to return to a holiday home but plan to return to this one next year !! Shaldon has something for all age groups.

SEPT 2011 We had a great time again this year and although we had almost decided it would be our last visit once we arrived the Shaldon magic took over and we decided we just had to come back again next year!We really appreciate the comfort and cleanliness of the property and the new kitchen is fabulous ! ..so we shall take advantage yet again of the lovely view and facilities.
