 Situated on Cowbar cliffs in an elevated position with panoramic views of the sea and Staithes village this cosy stone built 19th century cottage offers a high standard of accommodation including gas central heating, full double glazing, south facing lawned garden to the rear and car parking space. It is a charming property full of character.
Staithes is situated in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park on the Cleveland Way some 12 miles north of Whitby. It is an ideal location for discovering the charming North Yorkshire seaside resorts of Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Runswick Bay, Scarborough etc, or explore 'Heartbeat Country' of the North Yorkshire Moors. It is also where Captain james Cook lived until his teenage years before setting sail and discovering Australia. Only a short ride to Flamingoland theme park and zoo.
Cowbar Cottages are situated in a peaceful location within 5 minutes walk of local shops, post office, public houses and restaurant etc. The cottage sleeps 4 persons plus z-bed.

Ground Floor: Modern fitted kitchen with built in electric cooker and hob, fridge, washing machine, microwave and toaster. Panoramic sea and village views. Lounge / dining room with beamed ceiling. Gas fire set in stone fireplace. Dining table and chairs, 3 piece suite, colour TV and video. Bed settee. Sea views to front of cottage, lawned garden to rear. Sun lounge, south facing leading into lawned garden. First Floor: Master bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower cubicle, hand basin and WC. Outlook over lawned garden. Bedroom with 2 single beds. Panoramic sea and village views. Bathroom with bath, hand basin and WC. Facilities: An iron, ironing board and hair drier are also provided. Bed linen and towels are available at extra cost of £5 per person. No additional charge for heating/lighting. Sorry no pets.
