Upstairs Apartment overlooking Loch Ness. You won't find a better view of Loch Ness than from the picture window in the Coach House lounge. It is this property's 'wow factor'. The sunsets are absolutely fantastic from here. The Coach House was originally built as a stable and livery block. The self-catering accommodation occupies the upper floor with its own front door entrance and is furnished with tasteful and interesting finishing touches. There is a grassy area with a picnic bench to sit at and admire the view over Loch Ness and the beautiful mountain opposite. Delightful footpaths take you to the shores of the loch or via the riverside trail to the famous 'Falls of Foyers'.
There are delightful footpath walks from the cottage to the shores of Loch Ness, or via the riverside trail to the famous 'Falls of Foyers', quite spectacular when the river is in spate. Shop/ post office, restaurants and bars are within ambling distance. Fishermen can enjoy free river and Loch fishing in the area, for brown trout. The owner Mrs McDougall - ex owner of the Foyers Hotel, now retired, occupies the ground floor and will happily be on hand if help or advice is required. Looking further afield, Inverness and Fort Augustus are both about 16 miles. The ski areas of Cairngorms and the Nevis range are only an hours drive away. The west coast and Skye is one and half hour drive, but it may take you a little longer because there's so many beauty spots on route!!!
