ON THE KENT COAST AT KINGSDOWN NEAR DEAL

Situated on the cliff top in the beautiful, partly wooded 35 acre Kingsdown Holiday Park, our family owned chalet boasts a delightful position with sea views, which is sun drenched and quiet. It has a large decking (photo above left) with excellent Sea Views (photo above right), BBQ and Patio Heaters. The site is car free and therefore very suitable for children of all ages. It has a 5 star tourist board rating. Our chalet is 30 metres from the car park and within a few minutes walk of the private beach, three village pubs which all serve food and local shops including a butchers, post office, hairdressers, teashop and newsagent. Kingsdown village is situated between Dover, with its magnificent castle and fine harbour and Deal, with its long appealing promenade, fishing boats, nostalgic pier, plentiful shops and restaurants. The area offers fantastic cliff top and beach walks, fishing, golf, boating, horse riding and sightseeing, including three local castles, the seaside resorts of Margate and Ramsgate, historic Sandwich and the channel tunnel and ferries for day trips to France. The Cathedral City of Canterbury is within easy reach.

The site facilities include: indoor swimming pool (photo above right) and children's pool, tennis court (photo above left), volleyball pitch, crazy golf, table tennis, petanque or boules area, pool table and games room, children's play area, BBQ area, restaurant with takeaway, clubhouse and bar, shop, launderette and reception for check in and booking of tennis court and crazy golf putters.
Refurbished for 2007, Our Chalet Features are: Scandinavian style build, furnished to a very comfortable standard with parking very close by.

Ground floor: - Bedroom; with bunk bed to sleep two and extra mattress with access to rear decking.
- Bathroom; with bath, shower, electric towel rail and WC. Refurbished for 2008.
- Separate Kitchen; with electric cooker, fridge freezer, smaller fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle with access to rear decking and BBQ area.
- Sitting room/dining room; with table and chairs for 6/8, comfortable sofa and two armchairs, Freeview TV, video and DVD player and a large selection of children's videos and games with double doors leading to the front veranda.
- Free internet access either Wi-fi or ethernet cable. Bring your laptop if you wish, and entertain the kids.

 First Floor: - Double bedroom; with wardrobe, bedside tables and chest of drawers.
- Separate WC with basin.
- Twin bedded galleried bedroom with extra mattress and stairs to ground floor.
Outside: - Large Railed Wooden Decking overlooking the sea, with garden furniture, gas BBQ and patio heaters.
Facilities: - Bed linen and towels can be ordered and paid for when booking or you can bring your own. Please bring your own tea towels.
- Sleeps 6/7.
- Stairgate can be used at top or bottom of stairs for toddlers.
- Cot is available for hire from reception.
- High chair can be hired.
- Electric heaters are in each room and electricity is paid for by a pound coin meter in the kitchen, so please ensure you have a supply of £1 coins with you.
- If you have a larger party and wish to rent more than one chalet, we would be pleased to assist you in securing other chalets for you through our network of owners.
Sorry smoking is not permitted inside the chalet and the site is pet free.
